The last build Class 03s were numbered in the D2370 to
D2399 range after the Class 04s. Those that survived long enough to gain Class
03 series numbers retained their 033XX designation as opposed to being
renumbered 032XX, with D2370 becoming 03370 instead of 03270, or even 03200, as
was feasible. D2370 and D2371 started life allocated to the Departmental
division numbered 91 and 92 respectively before being taken into capital stock. |
